Student/Teacher day out!

Ever since Mighty Minds last year, Teacher Safrina, who happens to be my form 5 English teacher told all 3 of us that if we ever placed in the nationals, she would give us a treat by bringing all of us out for lunch someday. The great thing was, none of us would forget such a deal, that up to the point where each time any of us bump into her or Teacher Rosyada, we would bring this up.

And most often than not, they would jokingly reply Mamak as an alternative. HAHAHA, NO. :D

Up until the other day, none of us could settle on a date that would suit all 5 of us, since the teachers' schedules were always packed, and we 3 had things of our own to do. But, knowing that Ghavi and Kaif were entering college soon, somehow we managed to go out and have lunch at KLCC.

It's always good to know your teachers as if they're friends, because at least you won't be severely punished when arriving late to a certain destination, which was the case last Saturday when I wasn't necessarily on time (Pfft, who am I kidding?) and it even felt like ages finding for the teachers and Kaif in Kinokuniya. It's BIG.

We went from the bookstore to Chillis, then to Ben's, then to Chilli's again because some of us( points fingers at Kaif) couldn't make up their mind. In the end, we got to beat the lunch crowd and got a place in Chillis. I thought it would be a little weird eating lunch with the teachers, simply because I keep thinking it'll be like dining with Jamsiah and having to agree to every single sentence she says- Highschool memory LOL- but everyone felt so at ease and the food was good, so I was happy :)

We all just sort of update each other about the happenings in our lives at the moments, the teachers asking us what we were doing, and what others were doing as well( If you're reading this, we most likely talked about you too!), but hey we all put out a good name for MOST of you guys, so don't worry! :D As for us, we just wanted to know how much suckier has the school gotten now that the amazing principal left for a better school, downgrading our school even more, and knowing that the school carnival day this year was as bad as it could be.

Us :)

After sending the teachers back halfway, we went to Cold Storage because Kaif wanted to get some stuff for college, and then headed to Marks and Spencers for some Chocolates. They wanted to go back early but I indirectly persuaded them not to when I told them about the Petronas Art gallery on the 3rd floor. I was quite surprised that THEY do not know this place. If you haven't been there, I highly suggest you do, even if you're not the type who looks at a swirl of poop as an amazing piece of art. For all it's worth, you feel such at peace in there.

Technically, that's wasn't the case for 3 of us. We went in and acted so pompous, trying to interpret every painting and figure sculptures in the gallery, and actually enjoyed doing it( Which is to say, it's not for everyone!) In the end, it felt like we were restaurant critics regarding a plate of Nasi Lemak being too spicy ( read: stating the obvious)

I'm going to miss doing nerdy things when I enter college.
