Of Balls and Sticks

Hi. Yes, you dirty minded person. No point denying. ( I'll explain later)

Thought I would tell you guys about a few things/events that are happening as I speak, which I am putting much interest in.

No, I do not want to bore any of you by saying how excited/nervous/chilled out/frantic/mehh I am about college, which happens to be starting in no less than 3 weeks time. So, here I am, first timer, new to this whole new experience, and I would like to THANK all of my college friends- High school friends who have entered college, and not literally "college friends" because I'm not that cool, just yet- who indirectly are the most supportive lot when it comes to expressing their current college life, which they sum up in words like " Disaster, Boring, Sleepy, Tough" and any other inspirational words you could muster. So much help lah you guys LOL. No harm done.

Pssh ran out of topic. Oh, right, I'm super elated that before I enter college, the last Grand Slam I will be watching happens to be Wimbledon( hence, the balls). What's not to like about Wimbledon? Even if you don't enjoy Tennis( or one of those few who watches generic sports due to peer pressure), you can't help but to feel some love for the

  1. Immaculate, precisely cut grass
  2. The traditional white attire
  3. The eye candy( Sharapova has GOT to be one of the hottest female athlete out there.)
  4. The ambiance surrounding the competition which just shouts "English in all its glory".
Come on, they eat Strawberry with a dollop of cream for crying out loud. If there was a Malaysian Open as part of the four Grand Slam, the athletes probably get stomach aches, since every breakfast include Nasi Lemak

Watching this, has somehow reiterated my commitment to one day, be in the crowd of spectators watching a match in center court. And that one way or another, I will go to UK, and study there, and clench my fist at the sight of a badass UK university that I will get into. InsyaAllah. Oh,and of course attend the Oxegen music festival, Glastonbury festival, and travel around Europe while I'm at it :)

Do you know, there is EXACTLY 20 days to the final installment of the Harry Potter series. When I was at a friend's house the other day, we were talking about how close the last movie is already. A decade-long experience of such a fantastic series.

Aiman: (sighs) Maybe I tak sempat tengok the midnight screening of the movie when it comes out.
Friend: Why watch it so fast? Take your time, at least it'll last longer.
Aiman: Hmm, good idea.

The 2nd trailer of the much anticipated movie of the year, is SO EPIC, no words can describe it really. The only thing that might top that is this:-

So, go submit your email at the Pottermore site, and wait.

Ok, now, where's the owl?
