For my Dad's 54th Birthday, My mum and Sis decided that we should go spend the Saturday Night at RedBox in Pavilion, and I just reluctantly obliged. I have never been much of a karaoke type of person( The only one in the family who has never been to a Karaoke center prior to the birthday celebration), and the only time I really do sing in public was either during Choir practices in high school, or...
..yeah, that's just it. I spend most of my time belting out songs in the bathroom, because every human being is genetically predisposed to sound Ah-MA-ZING in the bathroom. Preach!
But most importantly, I don't see how one can have a good dinner, and sing at the same time. Chewing is made a 100x harder. But, everyone certainly has a liking for it, so, it wouldn't hurt to it a go.
Last Saturday, we all left the house after Maghrib, and headed to Pavilion. Right after entering the room, I started laughing. Those kind of rooms that they have reminds me of the countless Chinese drama shows I used to watch last time, which had gang members, mafias, and weaponry. But trust me, the only thing that could have brought murder was our singing voice later that night. Haha

The array of food served were pretty good, but you really can't focus on the eating when you're singing.
The choices of song that night were varied, from really easy ones ( Jessie J, Selena Gomez) to EXTREMELY difficult " why -did-we-even-choose-this-in-the-first-place" song like Adele and Leona Lewis. After literally shouting to " Rolling In The Deep", you tend to have a new found respect for Adele and how she looks so CALM when she sings. I would show you a video of us singing that voice, but let's put it this way; we didn't look very "calm"

It was still dad's birthday, so we spent half the time singing really old songs, which was a really good feeling, because nothing beats Sinatra and ABBA. Dad also sang a few Chinese songs, and we'll hum along, going " Chee Cheong Fun, Char Kuey Teow, Sei Fan,.."

Bought a cake from Baskin Robbin for us to indulge in. that night.

Dad and Mum
Oh, did I tell you, Jacklyn Victor was also there at RedBox on the same night? Wouldn't it be fun to crash her room, and hear her sing. She was probably scrolling through her own songs, but who cares if you're famous enough to HAVE songs at RedBox right? :D

We ended up going back around 1.30 at night, and as we walked towards the car park, I saw many people, families even, walking towards the mall. and the only thing that came across my mind was....,
WHAT HAPPENED TO SLEEPING AT NIGHT?
