If you've been following my blog from last year, you would know how much I love my 5 Nekad
class and all of the craziness that comes as a screwed up package.
class and all of the craziness that comes as a screwed up package.
I am all about variety, and high school allowed me to experience different people in different surroundings, but as long as I remain in contact with friends from this class, it will still remain as a very fond memory. Which is why, even after only 5 months, our class was awesome enough to have a reunion. Who has a reunion the year after high school ends, beats me, but at least it was an opportunity for all of us to meet up again.Prior to the event, I barely met any of them, and only on rare occasions do we gather.
Hours before, I was still rummaging through the closet, wondering what to wear since it was a Hawaiian themed party. "siapalah yang pandai sangat bagi tema tu-__-"I have no floral shirt, and no coconut trees near my house.
We had a potluck at Ain's huge house in Kemensah, and we had it near a pool, so even though it was all cool and had a frat party vibe(haha, who am I kidding? :p), everyone couldn't help but wonder the possible victim that will end up going home soaked. And as the party goes on, Kaif was the most possible candidate to "slip" and fall.

Honestly, I was a little disappointed by the turnout of the party, since only half of the class came. It slowly hit all of us that while many wanted to come, they were busy either with college work and other priorities. The party was still very noisy, noisier than it has ever been for the past 5 months, and only half came. I'm pretty sure the neighbour would've screamed at us if everyone attended:)

I brought brownies to the party, since I was lazy to even cook anything, but the others were surprisingly handy in preparing dishes of their own that they brought. And I didn't get food poisoning the day after, which proves their credentials for cooking. :D

As Eli and Justin handled the grill*, we all sat on the gazebo and tables just catching up, talking about the colleges we're entering, the courses we're taking, the places we're going, you get the drill.

We're that boring! hah, but no, really, everyone was more interested to know how everyone has been, and in the midst of all that, alot of laughter.

We had a cake cutting session, and made a video capsule. So, everyone gather around, and started talking about what they miss most about the class, and I know, I know, it sounds so cheese balls, and cliche, but there were no one else around, so, no pretending. Some even started to tear up. 0.0 And at the very same time, a sad song started to play, Courtesy of Eli's play list(BIG SURPRISE) and it could've passed as a scene from a soppy movie.

Random things that happened that night:-

Random things that happened that night:-
- Weird "interaction" between hanif and Justin, one that you have to ask only both of them to know the answer. Weird things happened that night.haha
- A lot of pole dancing. Everyone hugged the gazebo poles.
- Alot of "almost" mishaps that would have sent people into the pool.
- Me being so amused by Ain's super adorable cats.
- Best dressed being Ofiellia and Hanif.
It ended shortly after 11. Everyone said their goodbyes, wished everyone well on their way, and went home. And that was it.I had such a great time, and I know, in 10 years time, things change, I might not remember them, this blog might not be here, but at least I had a past with them in it.
And it'll take commitment to keep in touch with them, because the grass is greenest where it is watered
nuff said.
*Was first a typo error which said " As Eli and Justin handled the girl" . SO. WRONG.
