My not-so-CNY holidays

For some obscure reason, we tend to forget that here, we just get the one life, you know. Just one. There is no point living someone else's or think it's more important because it's highly more dramatic. Whatever you do, or happens around you, matters. May only be to us, but it still does.matters.But, it all comes down to whether you accept the fact of the matter that for whatever choice you are to make in the future, you should be aware of how much it can change consequences. So, try to be present.

Just some food for thought. Talking about food, I have yet to go and buy cakes from Secret Recipe to indulge on. And i have 3 days left.sigh.

-and that, above, my friends was written exactly 3 days ago.in a few hours time, I'll be back in the compounds of the camp for exactly another month of hopefully pure fun and adventure(Though I've learnt how to juggle with immense awesomeness, just saying)

Anyways, my CNY holidays have been pretty laid back, just the way I like it.

1st day

The students were allowed to go back starting 9.00 in the morning. But being the usual rule breaker self( ah,that's a lie, I follow rules like mad), I told the camp officers, "pakcik, ayah saya kena pergi outstation,so dia kena datang awal sikit". hah, as if. But, all is well when I saw SO many parents came much earlier, they might have as well slept overnight.

ate my hearts out in the car.Mum brought Nasi Lemak and Karipap and Apam, so that part was fully covered. For some reason, all of us NS trainees-speaking on behalf of Lemuel, Adeline, and Hannah- made lists of stuff to eat before we have to return back. That desperate, I tell you. But beside that, my first day out was pretty usual, really. Came back, and went online, THE WHOLE DAY.The end.

2nd day

Thursday was highly more productive. Went out with parents and sis to Pavilion, walked about, contemplating on whether to buy that uber nice converse from ZARA, decided on buying it only to find out that the pair of shoe weren't of the same size, ate at the food court(I gained 2kg just by coming home, wth right?) and had a blast.I decided I didn't want to spend so much time in front of the computer.Hence, me not blogging as I thought i would've.

3rd-4th day

Rasyidan's brother got married and us family left on an Air Asia flight to Terengganu for two days. Reached there, had a chauffeur in the form of a cousin, who brought us around. It has almost been 9 years since the last time I left, and the first thing we saw was the stadium with the collapsed roof. See how far we've come from almost a decade ago.Anyways, no sightseeing was done, except for looking at the sight of many many plates of food-nasi dagang, keropok lekor, and ICT(Ikan Celup Tepung)

5th day

Home. Had satay for dinner.

6th day

Out and about with mum and sis. Went to One Utama, had lunch, and played baseball on the roof, which was part fun, part stressful -__-' Next, left for IKEA, which never fails to bring excitement, because seriously, how can anyone resist a furniture shop?trust me, no sarcasm there.

7th day

Woke up bright and early in the morning, went to Pavilion with Nabil, just because he wanted to get some DVDs. An excuse just to get out of the house, which I approve 100% :D Went around, visited TIMES-because no trip is complete without stopping at a bookstore(which come to think of it,I regret not going to KLCC one of the days and go to Kinokuniya, but there will always be a next time, right?). Hanged out with The Twins and Nicole, who I haven't seen for a long time, and that was fun.

You see, going out to experience the hustle and bustle of the city life is fun and all, but nothing beats walking around the neighbourhood, riding in Nabil's car to pick up his sister from school, acting like such a goofball with our heads above the sun roof, saying Hi to people, ducking our heads for low lying branches, ducking our heads again because Pn. Norain was in the car behind us, and laughing all the way back :) memories, I tell you.

Watched Glee at night, such a sad episode.

and today is the 8th day, and you know what, I'm not jumping for joy at the thought of going back, but I'm trying to stay optimistic and looking forward for something every week will just make time move faster. and hey, I'm turning 18 next week. So, I'm off to a good start!

See you when we take our SPM results :)

P/S: HAPPY FUTURE 18TH BIRTHDAY TO KOMAL(16TH FEB) AND ZULLY(10TH FEB)
